Day Twelve: Travel Day Again (With Only 22 Bonus Points)

Aaron and I are spending the weekend in Chicago.  I know it's going to be another hard weekend since I am unable to cook for myself.  I'm going to try my hardest, but it's so easy to get off course while on vacation.

I knew I wanted deep dish pizza.  There was no question in my mind that I was going to try it.  To help make it plausible I decided to have 4 point eggs for breakfast.  Aaron had a buffalo chicken pizza.  It looked really good, but I knew that having it would be a huge sacrifice.  And luckily I did not give in when I saw that I had no clean bowls to scramble my eggs in.  I scrambled them in the pan. Go me!

Day Ten: Yeah Yeah I Skipped a Few Days

I actually did well the last two days.  Honestly.  I can't remember though.  Except last night I did drink 15 of my Chicago points away at Cousin Hugo's (regretting).  Anyway, I was slightly hungover so guess where I went for lunch today:



Yes, that is Chipotle.  Only 12 points  and totally worth it.  Anyway they started this new program and of course I signed up:



I'm 100% sure that I'll reach that mild status, 78% sure that I can get to medium.  If I get to hot, I've got a serious problem.

Day Seven: Continued?

Of course my flight was delayed.  I could create a whole new blog on American Airlines and the Philadelphia airport. But I won't and will sum it up on my food blog.  I thought my flight got in at 3:30, but in fact it got in at 1:20. I told Aaron to still pick me up (he had a job interview) when he's done because my flight would be delayed and I would get in at 2:oo pm.  I know it sounds weird how I could predict that almost 24 hours before my flight, but try flying American in Philadelphia.  My flight landed at 1:54 pm.

Anyway, I get home and immediately pass out from exhaustion.  Aaron asked me what my plans for the night were. I laughed at him and reminded him I just flew in from a foreign country.  I had no plans except for him to take me to dinner.  He said he was going to McDonald's.  I told him to pick me up a grilled chicken sandwich (since they don't have lobster rolls in St. Louis) and then rolled over and went back to sleep.  

Day Seven: Travel Day

So, I took a quick break trying to figure out how to make a flip book on this site.  It only worked with a link but I will, and I promise, I will figure it out, especially since that was the second (first I'm blogging about) out of possibly maybe.  Okay, not possibly.

So here I am.  In the Philly airport (possibly the work airport I've been in?  Really have to evualate it compared to the Joburg airport (shame this blog wasn't created ten years ago)).  I'm not sure if you remember (lol since it was just posted) that I was craving Chipotle at the beginning of my trip but here I am at 7:oo am in the morning enjoying my airport breakfast.



I love Chipotle.  I eat there enough that I should be a spokesperson and they can pay me in free food. Hint hint.

Day Three: Btw......



Did I mention today is travel day?  I was going to eat the full bag of pretzels until I realized they might be 8 points.

Sheryl was right. You do start to fall apart when you hit 30. I'm 33 and have some weird pain in the wing section of my back.  Normally I would self medicate and by self medicate I mean drink myself numb but this time is going to be tricky. I'm going to have to do some really creative math to make this one work.

Day Two Dinner

For dinner I had a big ass cheeseburger. I was planning on taking a picture of my big ass cheeseburger (16 totally worth it points) but since I maximized all my points during the day (4 point homemade fish tacos with a source of 2 point avocado) and not worry about my big ass cheeseburger, I scarfed it down. Sorry.

Day One

Still at 165.4.  I won't weigh in until the following Wednesday.  I like Wednesdays the best because the Weight Watchers meetings around my house are pretty sporadic.  The one close to my work and my dad's house have meetings almost every hour on the hour on Wednesdays, okay so maybe they just have three.

This morning I had full intentions of eating two scrambled eggs.  I also had full intentions of making myself look somewhat presentable before going into work.  I failed on both accounts.  I went to plug my straightner in and guess what, I blew a fuzz.  Much to Aaron's dismay, instead of waking him to fix it I just went into work early.  Luckily I had half of a blueberry bagel (5) there to eat.  It was pretty tasty even without the cream cheese (saved a few points, go me!)

I did pretty well today in the eating.  I only went over by 2 because halfway through the day I decided I wanted to eat some almonds.  Okay, I didn't decide.  Emily mentioned the almonds and I remembered that I had half a pack in my desk.  Luckily I only ate half of those.

Of Course I Love an Audience

I had the brilliant plan while sitting in my weight watchers meeting that I should "journal/ blog" my vacation problems.  I have decided to travel this summer and boy am I travelling.  I am currently washing clothes in between long weekends while I begin this.  I thought it would be fun to not only show my vacas but also help to gain support in my weight loss journey, because so far it has been anything but successful.  However, last weekend while I was in PA and the DC I noticed, I can't just blog on those weekends (and don't worry I did not on that weekend).  I have decided to share my entire journey with others.  

I gained my weight almost three years ago.  At the time I weighed about 145 pounds then the fun began:

1.  I started dating Aaron-  here comes about 6 pounds
2. My mother passed away- woo hoo another 9
3. Then I indulged and I mean indulged in Christmas cookies- total weight explosion.

I call it my trifecta of weight gain.  Total weight now:  165.4
